Wonderful apartment, very well equipped with everything we needed and some additional details. With an ideal location, not far from the airport and with easy access to surrounding areas such as the Cabo de Gata National Park and Almería. El Toyo is a very relaxed area with lots of nice open spaces and the apartment is within walking distance of a lovely beach and local amenities. Our hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming when we arrived. Thank you Silvia and Fran for providing such a comfortable vacation home. We were very impressed with the accommodation. It certainly looked good in the photos, but it was prettier when we arrived. A very nice extension to the terrace made the interior accommodation look really large and there is also a very pretty garden to the front and rear. Fran was very helpful when we arrived and gave us lots of ideas about local attractions. We only stayed a few days but hope to return as it was very comfortable for the two of us and there was certainly plenty of room for four people. The beds are also very comfortable! The apartment is just as it appears in the photographs: spacious, very clean, cozy and quiet. With access from the garden to the community pool, which makes things much easier with children. The apartment includes the use of an underground parking space that is right next to the elevator. Communication with Francis, the host, excellent. The location of the apartment allows you to walk to the supermarket and a restaurant area. Retamar beach is about 10 minutes walk away. It is a good starting point to explore the best-known beaches of Cabo de Gata. If we had to look for a point that could be improved... it would be that, as usually happens in apartments for tourist use, the kitchen equipment is simple, but otherwise, 100% recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay in Fran and Syliva's apartment. It's modern, spacious, clean, light and child-safe, and Fran and Sylvia were very friendly and helpful hosts, for example responding quickly to messages, giving lots of useful information about the region and going out of their way to resolve a problem with the internet (which stopped working for part of our stay - Vodafone's fault). Being winter, we couldn't use the pool, but it seemed like a really nice, kid-friendly setup for the warmer months. The Toyo is a good base for exploring Cabo de Gata National Park if you have a car and don't mind about a 30 minute drive to get to the main attractions. The accommodation meets all the requirements for a comfortable and pleasant holiday stay. A fully furnished private garden with direct access to the pool, which in turn has a very cozy and equipped porch. A backyard that also serves its purpose and a garage space directly to the entrance elevator. On the other hand, it is decorated in detail. The parking space is very comfortable and very large. They also leave you a bicycle at your disposal to go out for a walk or run errands. Spectacular accommodation. Fran and Silvia accommodated us and welcomed us in their beautiful apartment. This accommodation achieved the wow effect on us. 5 stars. I summarize it as a wonderful experience, positively memorable, widely recommended and of course repeatable. The decoration and furnishings are beautiful. It is very well equipped, the kitchen with all appliances (washer dryer), 2 external patios, perfect bathrooms and rooms with very comfortable mattresses. The site is wonderful. El Toyo has everything, shops, pharmacies, supermarkets, a variety of restaurants, a golf course, a convention center, and large areas for walking or playing sports. In a private and secure area. And apart from everything, it is very close to the beach and the Cabo de Gata park, which is a beautiful place and has very beautiful beaches. Excellent one-week stay in this well-thought-out, spacious and perfectly equipped accommodation. A small appreciable detail: we have not needed to use the air conditioning, since natural ventilation allows us to maintain good freshness in the rooms. Silvia's apartment was perfect for our trip. Fran greeted us upon our arrival, she was very friendly and showed us around, giving us all the information. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with all the amenities you could need, as well as the little extras that make a big difference (dishwasher tablets, coffee machine capsules). It was perfectly located for our visit and the basement parking was great, although there was also plenty of space on the street outside if we needed it. We spent a wonderful week at Silvia and Fran's house. It's even prettier than the photos and has everything you need for a fantastic stay, including cooking oils and spices, dishwasher and washing machine tablets. Silvia and Fran were probably the best hosts I have ever had on Airbnb. Very responsive and flexible with check-in, even meeting us directly from the airport to show us around. We had a problem with the air conditioning and they were both there within 30 minutes of messaging them to fix it, and they also gave us some great local recommendations. We had a great stay! The location was perfect, just a few steps from the airport and a short walk from the beach and many restaurants. There is even a 24-hour store called The Jungle nearby, which was very convenient for purchasing water, ice, and snacks. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and coffee in the mornings, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver on those hot days. We also really enjoyed relaxing by the pool during our free time. The host was friendly and very informative. He told us about the Midsummer Night celebration on the beach, which was a really fun experience, and even helped us call a taxi when we left. We have spent a few days in this apartment with our son and we have been very comfortable. The accommodation is spacious, comfortable and everything was very clean when we arrived. We liked the location a lot, since it is close to the beach and in a quiet area. In addition, getting there was very easy and having parking included is very appreciated. Silvi and Fran were great hosts and responded very well to everything we asked or needed. We enjoyed our stay there and it was very comfortable at all times. They also provided us with lots of information, maps and brochures about Almeria and the surrounding area, including restaurants and grocery stores, things to see and places to visit. The underground garage was also practical. The location was close to the Mediterranean Sea, beaches, great restaurants and grocery stores.
